IZBRISANI / THE ERASED

An erased front page dealing with the phenomenon of "erasing" by Slovenian politics.

The right wing government's agenda to portray the "communist" Partisans - who were acknowledged by the allies as the official Yugoslav army in WW2 and won the war on Yugoslav soil - as murdurers and criminals and to reform the collaborationist army,
has resulted in the expulsion of Partisans from a national celebrations. These atempts of erasing history were complemented with the reactions of the right wing to the European Court of Human Rights ruling to pay damages to the Erased, a serious human rights violation to people who were erased after Slovenia got independent.
