PODOBE BALKANA / IMAGES OF THE BALKANS

The Balcans had been heavily influenced by the Turkish empire. Organisers of a prominent exhibition on the topic established that if there is one thing the Balkans nations have in common, it is what the Turks have left us - coffee. The ilustration is a hommage to the image of the coffee lady (a famous Slovenian painting by Ivana Kobilica, which opened the exhibition) with a small twist.
